Those of you interested in delving a bit deeper into “pre-US” military history may wish to head over to Battlefields of the Pequot War an on-line portal devoted to the conflict and the ongoing efforts of historians and archaeologists to preserve the remains of the its principal battle sites. Along with a number of other useful items, there you’ll find a more detailed account of the war than we had time to discuss in class.
