A broad, global survey covering the ancient past to the present day, “Technology & Science in World History” investigates the myriad cultural, political, social, and economic factors that have shaped (and been shaped by) technological and scientific innovation. In addition to introducing students to major historical developments and themes, this course seeks to give beginning college students useful information and advice aimed at helping them to survive their “college experience.”
