Undergraduate Students:

Course Exams (x2): 40% (20% each). Each exam will consist of four (4) short-answer Identification items (40%), and a short essay (60%).

Reading/Viewing quizzes (x3): 15% (5% each).

Response Paper: 15% A short (5-7 pp.) response essay on Loren Graham’s Ghost of the Executed Engineer. For details, click HERE.

Final Exam: 30% Identical in format to the in-class course exams. Although the majority of materials/topics addressed in the final will be drawn from the last third of the semester, there will be cumulative elements.
Graduate Students:
In addition to the items appearing above, students enrolled for graduate credit will be required to undertake a course project
